Ohio Sports Betting Report is an independent editorial review project covering ohio sports betting — the regulated apps that went live in Ohio in January 2023 and the offshore books that have served Ohio bettors for two decades before that. We test every book on real money, document every payout window, and publish only what we can reproduce.
Ohio's regulated market launched fast and crowded — over a dozen mobile sportsbooks went live on day one, and the bonus arms race produced more confusing offers than useful ones. Meanwhile, the offshore books that Ohio bettors had been using for years got buried under regulator-press-release content farms. We started Ohio Sports Betting Report to do what neither side does: actually test the books, measure the things that matter (line sharpness, payout speed, live-betting depth), and write reviews that read like the friend-of-a-friend recommendation rather than a press release.
Every book on this site is an affiliate partner — meaning we earn a referral fee when a reader signs up through one of our links. That's the standard model for independent affiliate publishers, and it's how we keep the lights on without a paywall. The rankings on this site are NOT influenced by which book pays the highest commission. We rank by our six-stage testing methodology (see /methodology/) and we re-test every 90 days. If a book on our top 5 ever stops meeting our payout or dispute standards, it drops — regardless of commercial terms.

Editorial corrections, payout-discrepancy reports, and feedback go to our contact page — every email is read, and material errors are corrected within 48 hours with a dated changelog at the bottom of the affected page.
We focus exclusively on the Ohio market — both regulated and offshore. We don't cover daily fantasy sports, prediction markets, or pure-casino content unless it's directly relevant to a sportsbook's offering. We don't promote books that haven't paid a real reader during our test cycle. We don't accept "review-for-pay" arrangements or write puff pieces; if you've been pitched by a book asking us to inflate their ranking, please tell us.
